I have experience as a Production Designer, Set Dresser / Decorator, Propmaster - all things Art Department! I enjoy bringing spaces to life and enhancing narrative/character through stylistic choices. Thanks to my experience on smaller sets and indie sets, I’m a skilled problem solver and collaborative team player.
THE WEDDING PAINTING
In addition to writing, directing, and editing, I did production design and all the original art for my short film, The Wedding Painting. Shot in October 2020 and set during the height of the pandemic, the film is about an artist attempting to start a painting in the throes of uncertainty. To be able to pour my heart into this and execute the exact vision I had in mind as an artist was incredible (and exhausting). I am so proud of this piece!

LOFT DIGITAL SHORTS
I worked with Loft to create on-brand digital shorts featuring writer and comedian Jessi Klein (Inside Amy Schumer) and actress Busy Phillips. As a one-woman art department, creative challenges were presented (i.e. making a flower shop in a guest house!) and overcome.

PYPO, the brainchild of producer Stephanie Laing (Veep, Eastbound & Down), is female-driven content that seeks to be a “new kind of conversation for women with life-experience, hindsight, foresight and Wi-Fi.” As a one-woman art department yet again, it was a blast (and a relief) to work with a talented cast and crew on hilarious, biting scripts.
